Read the following FAQs to make sure you plan ahead!

Our outdoor performances are very special, but there are extra considerations audiences need to make to fully enjoy the experience.

What time do gates open?
Gates open 1 hour before performance begins.

Can I buy tickets at the gate?
Unless the performance is sold out, tickets will be on sale at the gate, usually on a cash only basis.

Can I bring a picnic?
Picnics are very welcome at most venues.
However, we would prefer that you don’t bring a table, if you do, you will be seated at the back so as not to hinder the view for other patrons.

Do I need to bring chairs or rugs?
Yes, as no seating is provided except at indoor venues (check when booking).
Please bring chairs or rugs.
Rugs/blankets will be placed at the front with chairs sat behind.
Seating/space is unreserved.

What happens if it rains?

This is an outdoor event and performances go ahead in rain or shine so do come prepared. However, we may have to abandon the performance for health and safety reasons during thunder and lightning or torrential rain. See Changeling’s cancellation policy below.

What is the cancellation policy?
The decision to cancel a performance due to inclement weather will not usually be taken until 30 minutes before curtain up, therefore, patrons should attend the venue.

If a performance is cancelled for any reason before the show begins, refunds will be offered from the point of sale or tickets will be exchanged for forthcoming performances at certain venues.

If a performance is abandoned once it has begun, refunds will not be offered but Changeling may offer exchange tickets at certain venues.
