Forbidden the life due to him in his late father’s will by his eldest brother Oliver, Orlando leaves home to see his fortune at the court of Frederick, who has usurped his brother’s Dukedom.

Once there he meets and falls for Rosalind, daughter of the Old Duke. Orlando is forced to flee by the jealousy of Frederick, who subsequently banishes his niece Rosalind. But Celia, her cousin and faithful friend, has a plan to help them escape…

After plots twists involving mystery, mistaken identity and fake marriages in the Forest of Arden, all comes good in the end. A fine Shakespeare comedy for the open air!
