The Royal Albion Hotel

Part of our Summer Tour 2024

The Royal Albion, Broadstairs

Built in 1760 and a former residence of Charles Dickens. The hotel started life as the “Phoenix” but was renamed in 1805 in honour of Nelson’s victory at Trafalgar.

This Broadstairs hotel is a tale of stunning sea views, elegant interiors, and delicious fresh fare – the perfect place to unwind and enjoy good food, drink, and company beside the sea.

With dishes expertly crafted from fresh, local produce, an unrivalled local drinks list to choose from, and an awe-inspiring vista over beautiful Viking Bay, it is the perfect backdrop to our Shakespeare with Sheps evening.
